Media have been Frequently Banned During NDA Rule
Indian Media have been frequently gagged. Starting from Kashmiri media, now the mainstream national media. A number of Kashmiri newspapers including The Rising Kashmir, The Greater Kashmir were recently gagged.
NDTV India has been banned for one day to hide the failure of government. Terrorist entered high security military zone in Pathankot was completely security failure. NDTV did not broadcast live coverage of Pathankot attack but report the ongoing incident what other media also reported which was not against the law. When same government call our enemies, Pakistani investigating Agency to this military base, there was nothing wrong with it.
Similar action was taken few days back by Pakistani government to the Dawn reporter. When Dawn reporter disclosed the minutes of meeting between Pak prime minister and Army General, when Nawaz Sarif asked the military establishment to stop supporting terrorist else face international isolation. Both India and Pakistan walking on the same path.
When media speak the truth which is not government centric, media have been gagged. Banning media, snatching freedom of Press is similar to Emergency. This has been noticed frequently during NDA rule. Those who are with the support of government are patriotic but who criticize government's function are either anti-national or terrorist sympathizer.
