Advantages of Ebook

Apart from PC and laptop, ebook can be read in various devices like kindle, ipad, nook, mobile, kindle fire, kindle paperwhite, sony reader and other devices. In printed book, we sometimes highlight or underline any important text or sentences or line. We can do similar activities in ipad as well.

Fixed layout books are replica of printed book appear in ipad or nook. Reader can search any text or references within a second. In printed book we set page references, reader flip pages to referred text. In ebook, without much efforts, just by clicking text, reader can go back to referred text. Index term can be found by searching less than a second. This is more reader friendly.

In India, almost all the major publishers are publishing ebook as pdf format on the web. Several ereaders like kindle and ipad are not avilable everywhere. Only android device has captured Indian market. If a reader wish to read a book in his mobile, due to heavy file size of pdf, reader face trouble while reading. It take much time to scroll pages. But after converting pdf to epub or mobi file, it generally have light file size and easily readable in ipad or mobile. Readers can enjoy reading novels, literature, poems. Student can enjoy reading school books in ipad or mobile.

While you are travelling by trains or buses, you can easily carry an ipad which can be stored more than 200 novels, of course a mini library. You can erase old books and add new books by your choice in ipad. You can enjoy reading while travelling choosing from this mini library. It is not practical for someone to carry more than 200 books while travelling elsewhere but ebook does. 

Kids are carrying approximately 10 kg school bags everyday in the morning on their way to school. But a single ipad can solve this problem. All the books assigned by school can be stored in ipad. Ipads are so user friendly that kids can easily operate it. I am anxiously waiting for the day when this practice will start in our country. Kids who need support on their way to go to school carrying 10 kg school bags everyday will enjoy reading electronically.
